📝 Job Summary
The Nursing Activity Manager (NAM) will lead and supervise nursing activities at the Abdurafi Health Centre, focusing on quality care for Kala Azar and snakebite patients, while supporting capacity building, emergency preparedness, and coordination with local health authorities.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Supervise and organize all nursing activities (IPD, OPD, nutrition, maternity, etc.)

Implement MSF protocols and standards for nursing care and infection control

Manage nursing staff schedules, training, evaluations, and capacity building

Oversee distribution of medical equipment and ensure rational drug use

Coordinate with other MSF and BoH teams on emergency preparedness and health assessments

Ensure proper data collection, reporting, and patient tracking

Train staff on case management of Kala Azar and snakebite
🎓 Requirements

Education: Diploma or BSc in Nursing (Tropical Medicine training is a plus)

Experience: At least 2 years in nursing; MSF/NGO experience preferred

Language: Fluency in English and Amharic required

Skills: Leadership, team coordination, IPC knowledge, and data handling
