Job Overview:
World Vision Ethiopia is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Community Health Facilitator to join the SPIR II Project in Hararghe. This role focuses on strengthening Health and Nutrition interventions, capacity building, and coordination with local stakeholders to improve community health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Support CHFs and HEWs through coaching, training, and performance follow-up.

Facilitate regular community-based health meetings, monthly reviews, and refresher trainings.

Conduct capacity assessments and offer targeted support at health post levels.

Oversee quality and consistency of Nurturing Care Group (NCG) activities.

Provide technical input on data systems (C_HMIS & CBHI) and help with surveys and evaluations.

Participate in local forums and cross-sectoral coordination meetings.

Ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and documentation of success stories.

Monitor field activities and submit monthly performance reports to Woreda coordinators.
Required Qualifications:

Education: BSc in Public Health, Nutrition, Nursing, or Health Officer

Experience: Minimum 5 years in rural Health & Nutrition projects (3+ years in a supervisory role)

Excellent skills in training, communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement

Fluency in English and Afan Oromo (mandatory)

Preferred: NGO experience and valid motorbike driving license
Workplace Requirements:

Field-based role with frequent travel across Woredas and Kebeles

Strong commitment to safeguarding children and community members

Ability to operate in rural, low-resource settings
