Key Responsibilities

As the Health Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough medical assessments and diagnosing patient conditions

• Developing individualized treatment plans and prescribing medications

• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care as needed

• Supervising healthcare staff to ensure adherence to clinical protocols

• Leading public health outreach and disease prevention programs

• Maintaining accurate medical records in line with healthcare regulations

• Providing health education to patients and communities

• Responding promptly to medical emergencies

• Collaborating with medical teams to improve service quality

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest medical trends and standards

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc in Public Health (or equivalent) from a recognized institution

• Minimum 6 years of experience in public health or clinical care

• Valid license to practice medicine in Ethiopia

• At least 3–5 years of managerial or supervisory experience

Required Skills:

• Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills

• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities

• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions

• Familiarity with Ethiopian healthcare policies and standards

• Adaptability and active listening skills

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
