📝 Position Summary:

Marie Stopes International Ethiopia is seeking an experienced and passionate Midwife to join its Mobile Health & Nutrition Team in South Wollo. The position is focused on delivering a wide range of maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) services in hard-to-reach and conflict-affected areas.

You will be responsible for delivering services such as:

• Antenatal and postnatal care (ANC/PNC)

• Family planning (FP)

• Safe abortion/post-abortion care (SA/PAC)

• Immunization (EPI)

• Nutritional screening and counseling

🔧 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide MNCH services to underserved populations

• Offer sexual and reproductive health counseling

• Assist in screening and early detection of maternal complications

• Support clinical procedures before, during, and after service delivery

• Ensure all instruments and tools are properly processed and sterilized

• Monitor and follow up on clients to ensure quality of care

👤 Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Midwifery or Nursing

• 3–5 years of clinical experience in maternal and child health

• Strong understanding of mobile and outreach health programming

• Willingness to work in remote and challenging settings

• Ethical, professional, and compassionate service delivery
