Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Head will work under the supervision of the center manager and in technical collaboration with the quality department. The main duties include:

Conducting client examinations and diagnosing medical conditions using standard procedures

Prescribing and administering treatments, medications, and procedures
-
Delivering sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services including safe abortion care, family planning, antenatal (ANC) and postnatal (PNC) consultations
-
Managing newborn and childhood illnesses, including recognizing and addressing signs of abuse
-
Leading and mentoring the clinical team to ensure service quality aligns with MSIE standards
-
Performing permanent family planning procedures after training
-
Supporting performance reviews, coaching, and capacity-building for service providers
-
Ensuring compliance with national and MSIE clinical protocols and record-keeping standards

Promoting center services through community outreach and referral strengthening

Participating in center business development and demand creation activities
Required Qualifications
Education:
-
MD in General Medicine, or
-
BSc in Health Officer or Nursing
Experience:
-
At least 2 years of clinical service experience for BSc-level professionals
-
At least 1 year of experience for MDs
-
Background in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services is preferred
Certification:
-
Valid and renewed professional license in a relevant clinical field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong clinical judgment and patient care experience

High proficiency in pediatric and SRH-related healthcare delivery

Awareness of MSIE and Ethiopian healthcare protocols
