Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Head will work under the supervision of the center manager and in technical collaboration with the quality department. The main duties include:

• Conducting client examinations and diagnosing medical conditions using standard procedures

• Prescribing and administering treatments, medications, and procedures

• Delivering sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services including safe abortion care, family planning, antenatal (ANC) and postnatal (PNC) consultations

• Managing newborn and childhood illnesses, including recognizing and addressing signs of abuse

• Leading and mentoring the clinical team to ensure service quality aligns with MSIE standards

• Performing permanent family planning procedures after training

• Supporting performance reviews, coaching, and capacity-building for service providers

• Ensuring compliance with national and MSIE clinical protocols and record-keeping standards

• Promoting center services through community outreach and referral strengthening

• Participating in center business development and demand creation activities

Required Qualifications

Education:

• MD in General Medicine, or

• BSc in Health Officer or Nursing

Experience:

• At least 2 years of clinical service experience for BSc-level professionals

• At least 1 year of experience for MDs

• Background in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services is preferred

Certification:

• Valid and renewed professional license in a relevant clinical field
