💼 Position Overview: Clinical Officer

MSF-Holland is hiring a Clinical Officer to join its project team based in Sheraro, under the Northwest Tigray Project. The role involves supervising iCCM (Integrated Community Case Management) activities, supporting health workers, and maintaining high standards of care within the community.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of community health workers under the iCCM framework.

• Provide technical coaching during supervision visits and training sessions.

• Monitor service delivery, patient care quality, and medical record accuracy.

• Ensure community engagement, data reporting, and medicine stock tracking.

• Collaborate with stakeholders including Ministry of Health (MoH) and community leaders.

• Uphold MSF principles while representing the organization in the field.

• Assist in medical stock management, program evaluations, and health meetings in IDP camps.

• Prepare regular reports and contribute to program planning and coordination.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Diploma or equivalent in Clinical Medicine or a related allied health field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role.

• Prior experience with MSF or other NGOs is advantageous.

• Clinical supervision experience is desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong teamwork and flexibility.

• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities.

• Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel).

• Knowledge of local languages is essential; mission-specific language skills are a plus.
